Recently, members from The Valley Grassroots made the journey to Minneapolis, MN to attend a rally to speak out against the Federal Reserve and support H.R. 2755 otherwise known as the “Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act.”  If you are curious as to why we would drive 4 hours on a Saturday to stand outside in the cold to demonstrate against the Federal Reserve here are just a couple of reasons as to why I felt the obligation to head to MPLS followed by a couple of resources for you to explore!

First of all, the United States Constitution clearly states in Article I Section 8 that “The Congress shall have Power To….To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.”

Secondly, according to the Federal Reserve’s own website, their decisions “…do not have to be ratified by the President or anyone else in the executive or legislative branch of government.”
